I am a PhD candidate studying the global carbon cycle and forest management. My projects range from decomposition rates following chronic nitrogen addition, to carbon offsets from forest management and woody biofuels.
I work with the Goodale and Fahey labs in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I am especially interested in the interface of scientific research and policy action, and in addition to fundamental research I work on several local and regional policy outreach projects.
